Bishop Charles Wesley  Hunter Sr.
Bishop Charles Wesley Hunter, Sr., 74, of Summit Point, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Born October 31, 1942 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Hunter and Margaret Geraldine Hunter.
He was currently the pastor of Ebenezer Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Summit Point.
He was retired from the US Air Force, 167th WV Air National Guard; and General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Alice B. White Hunter; his children, Cornel Brown, Darrell Hunter, and Charles W. Hunter, Jr. and wife, Kimberly; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon C. Hunter and wife, Carol, Dale E. Hunter, Sr. and wife, Kim; and two sisters, C. Carolyn Togans and husband, Larry, and Pastor Pamela G. Boomer and husband, Lawrence.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Apostle Floyd E. Nelson officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Military graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
