Obituary for Cindy Kay Kendrick (Davis)

Cindy Kay "Davis" Kendrick, 70, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 21, 1947, in Wheeling, WV, she was the daughter of Gloria Mattern McCormick, and the late Russell Edward Davis and step-father, Harold F. McCormick.

She was a very beautiful, caring and loving wife, a good cook, an outstanding dancer that was fun to watch, she had a very outgoing and wonderful personality.

She had been employed as the manager of 7- Eleven in Shepherdstown, part time at Quad Graphic Cafeteria, a clerk at Sonny's One Stop, and a cook at Betty's Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Terry Kendrick; one daughter, Barbara Mayfield and husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Stephani, Douglas, Alison and Jackie; a two great-grandchildren, Nikolas and Sophie; two brothers, Russell Edward Davis, Jr. and wife, Yvonne, Douglas Fredrick Davis; sister-in-law, Pam; one sister, Vicki O'Hara: three brother in-laws and their wives, Dave and Brenda Kendrick, Frank and Sharon Kendrick; and Stevie and Connie Parkinson; sister-in-laws, Betty and her husband Ken Hollander and Dorothy Dillard; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and step-father, she was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Lisa Renae Bennett Fath; and one brother-in-law, Woody O'Hara.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Services and interment will be private.
