The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Melvin Heartley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mrs. Edwards
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear loved one, I pray that your family will find comfort in the God of all comfort Jehovah. I too have suffered such loss and it is never easy to say goodby to those we love, however I was able to find hope in Gods word the bible. 1John 5:25 "Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live.I would also like to share Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say:"I am sick" The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error... What a wonderful time it will be when no one will ever again get sick or die.

Condolence From: Condolences
Condolence: My deepest heartfelt condolences to your family . Losing ones we love is by far the most heartbreaking thing in life to bear. Two scriptures I find comfort in about the promise for the near future are John 5:28, 29, which promises that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will.. come out", followed by the beautiful time that Revelation 21:4 describes: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." A beautiful time our loved ones who are "sleeping" in death (John 11:11-13) will come back to life & to us right here on an earth of restored peace & health in the near future (Psalms 37:11,29), & we'll never have to worry about losing them again (1 Corinthians 15:26). I hope you'll find comfort in looking forward to the fulfillment of those promises as I do, & knowing that your loved one is not suffering but is at rest until you can see them again, healthy & happy, once again very soon, for all eternity.
