Obituary for Betty Lee Dunham (Saville)

Betty Lee Saville Dunham, age 88, of Bunker Hill, died on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Clary Grove.

Widow of Paul K. Dunham, married 48 years. She is the last of her immediate family.

Born Novemeber 4, 1928 in Berkeley County, the daughter of the late Charles Boyd Saville and Eliza Pearl Kitchen Saville.

She retired after 33 years service for the C.H. Musselman Company and Knouse Foods in 1991.

She was a member of Mt. Carmel Bible Church, Glengary.

Survived by two daughters, Judy D. Benner of Bunker Hill; and Paula L. Shade and husband, Randy of Martinsburg; one granddaughter, Jessica G. Benner and her companion, Jonah McAllister-Erickson of Pittsburgh, PA; one nephew, Daniel Saville; one great-niece, Samantha Saville; and many more nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Boyd Melvin, Martin Leo, Gerald Wayne, and Calvin D. Saville; son-in-law, Stanley G. Benner, II.


Family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 1:30PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Erik Kisner officiating.

Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
