Obituary for Glenda Hardee Hardy

Glenda Hardee Hardy, 100, of Inwood, WV, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born June 8, 1916, in Bunker Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Hunter and Lucy Hodge Hardee.

She retired from the C. H. Musselman Company in 1986 from which she worked for 53 years, 14 years with Jones Funeral Home in Winchester and eight years at City Hospital.

She was a member of the Mountain View Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Hardy, four sisters and seven brothers.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Clary Grove for their exceptional care of Glenda.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM at 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the chapel in Inwood with Pastor Michael Staubs officiating. Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain View Church of the Brethren, P. O. Box 655, Bunker Hill, WV 25413.
