Obituary for James Allen "Jimmy" Lillard

James "Jimmy" Allen Lillard, 68, of Hedgesville, passed away December 21, 2016 at his residence.

Born February 19, 1948, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph Connor Lillard and Louise Clairebelle Carr Lillard Abrell.

He was a veteran of the US Army and a truck driver for FedEx Freight. He was also a member of Rivers Edge Ministries.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Susie Zimmerman Lillard; two sons, Donald Lillard and Tammy Weaver, Michael Lillard and wife Sarah; one daughter, Rebecca Hutzler and husband Chris; six grandchildren; one sister Margaret Erskine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Russell A Carr and Amy Carr and Step Father Pearl Z. Abrell.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 26 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at 11:00AM with Pastor John Wood officiating at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
