Obituary for Kathy Diana Twyman (Reed)
Kathy Diana Twyman, 59, of Ranson, passed away Wed., Aug. 17, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center. Born March 15, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Reed and Myrtle Gertrude Thompson Reed.
She was a member of the Charles Town Baptist Church. She was a horseman at the Charles Town Race Track and had been a jockey, trainer, and an owner.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Emory Twyman, at home; son, Richard Owen Bowman, Jr., and wife Kristie, of Hedgesville; daughter, Jennifer Musselman, and husband Anthony, of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two brothers, Alton and Thomas Reed, Jr.; sister, Brenda Waters, and 5 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
