Doris  Small (Wilson)
Doris Wilson Small, 78, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at her home.
Born April 25, 1938, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard Wilson and Lucy Marie Hardy Wilson.
She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, and the Saint Mary's Guild and Alter Guild at Trinity Church. Doris was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Stephen H. Small and wife Lisa, one daughter, Johnna M. Laign and Jerry Boyd; one grandson, Dylan M. Laign; one great grandson, Noah E. Laign; and two dear family friends, Vel Chapman and Lucille Michael.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Small and son in-law Ted M. Laign.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Julie Harris officiating. Interment will be held in Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or to Trinity Episcopal Church 200 West King Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
