Ralph D.  Rogers
Ralph D. Rogers, 59, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born September 26, 1956 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Glenwood A. and Betty Lou Kidwell Rogers.
Ralph was well-known as a permanent fixture from childhood throughout his adult life in Jump's Grocery. Jump and Madelon was like family to him, he loved and missed them very much.
Proudest accomplishment his high school diploma from special education. He also attended James Rumsey Special Education Program for several years.
He suffered many health issues his lifetime, but was a special person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by one brother, C. David Rogers and wife, Tina; two sisters, L. Darlene Houpt and husband, Bradley and Carolyn L. Walls and husband, Lester, Jr., one sister-in-law, Bev Rogers, all of Martinsburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and called himself Daddy to fourteen year old beloved pet Lady.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary W. and Kenneth A. Rogers, and Robert L. Rogers, Sr.
Special thanks to Patient Transportation and Berkeley Senior Center Transport for their consideration and kindness to Ralph.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Needmore Cemetery.
