The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sharon Unger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Nanny

My Nanny Unger was one of the most caring and loving people I knew. I remember family calling me "little Sharon" because they said I looked so much like her. I also know for a fact I got my fiesty personality from her. She loved her five grandkids more than anything. She would do anything for us. She was there for me whenever I needed her. I remember late nights staying up with her and pappy talking at the dinning room table and watching her soup with her during the summer. She never let us go without and we were always so happy to spend the weekends and summers at her house. She was the best cook ever and I hope someday to be half as good as what she was! We will all miss her so much , but take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain and is with her dad and mom now. I love you and will miss you nanny , Rest Easy. I know you will be watching over us all.
