Obituary for Shirley Virginia Dokes (Finley)
Shirley Virginia Finley Dokes, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born March 28, 1938 in Keyser, WV she was the daughter of the late John Richard Jessie and Helen Virginia Finley.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, Gregory Jessie, Shirley Walker, George A. Dokes, Jr., and James Anthony Dokes; eighteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leslie Jessie and Kenzel Jessie; two sisters, Shelby Dokes and Ruby Redmond; and host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. James T. Brown officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
