Obituary for Lee Edward Keebler

Lee Edward Keebler, 79, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born August 13, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Elmer F. Keebler and Blanche Pine Keebler.

He had been a professor at Shepherd University for 31 years and was a member of the Shepherd University Foundation. He received his Doctorate in English in 1967 from University of Madison at Wisconsin. He enjoyed quilting and building model airplanes.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Martinsburg.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda Tucker Keebler.

No services will be held per his request.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to Elmer F. Keebler Scholarship Foundation at Shepherd University.
