Obituary for Joseph Arthur Corbin
Joseph Arthur Corbin, 87, of Martinsburg passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Harrisburg, PA.
Born June 2, 1930 in East Chicago, Indiana, he was the son of the late Julian G. Corbin and Anna Poplaski Corbin Boltz and stepfather, George F. Boltz.
He was a member of the Rosemont Grace Brethren Church.
Joe was a veteran of the US Air Force and had been a Sr. Master Sergeant with the 167th Air National Guard for 34 years until retirement in 1989.
He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dodge Corbin; his children, Joseph Corbin, Jr. and wife, Charlotte, Julie Hall, and Kathy Sampson and husband, Todd; five grandchildren, Caroline Balser and husband, Daniel, Whitney Fraley; Preston Creswell and wife, Danielle, and Taylor Wasson and wife, Sara; and eight great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 12:30PM at the Holiday Inn. Interment will be private in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosemont Grace Brethren Church, 117 S. Illinois Ave., Martinsburg WV 25401.
