Obituary for Helen Marie Johnson

Helen Marie Johnson, 76 of Shenandoah Junction, WV passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in the Specialty Select Hospital, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Born April 28, 1941 in Charles Town she was the daughter of the late Wilson Henry and May Virginia Taylor Johnson. She was a quality control inspector for Potomac Sportswear. She loved her family and her flowers. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to everyone.

She is survived by three sons, Curtis Johnson and wife Phyllis of Kearneysville, Mark Johnson of Mt. Olive, West Virginia and Shawn Johnson of Capitol Heights, Maryland; three daughters, Dana Puller and husband James of Harpers Ferry, Stacey Johnson of Shenandoah Junction and Kia Johnson of Kearneysville; three brothers, Thomas Johnson and wife June of Randallstown, Maryland, Bishop Wilson Johnson and wife Joan of Hinesville, Georgia and Bishop Raymond Johnson and wife Susan of Kearneysville, four sisters, Esther Johnson of Keene, Texas, Edith Holmes of Shepherdstown, Dorothy Ponton and husband Pete of Douglassville, Pennsylvania and Darlene Brown of Greenville, South Carolina, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Johnson and sister, Alice Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 1pm, Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Bishop Ronald Paige and Bishop Raymond Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
