Obituary for Harry F. "Butch" Catrow Sr.

Harry F. "Butch" Catrow, Sr., 72, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017.

Born January 15, 1945 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Paul Pitzer Catrow and Della Catherine LeMaster Catrow.

He was a member of Bedington United Methodist Church. He had served six years with the 351st Army Reserves.

Butch loved living on the river, taking his pontoon boat out fishing and being with his family.

Work was his passion and he had owned Catrow Construction for 47 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Moore Stickles Catrow; three sons, Harry "Butchie" Catrow, Jr. and wife, Lori of Shepherdstown; Garnett Catrow and wife, Tasha of Kearneysville; Kevin Catrow of Middleway; four grandchildren, Jacob Catrow, Jonathan Catrow, Mila Catrow, and Brady Catrow; six sisters, Beatrice Phillips and husband, Clayton of Colorado, Shirley Beard and husband, Curtis of Martinsburg; Margie Beard of Virginia, Dorine Rowland of Martinsburg, Anna Belle Puryear of Virginia, and Mary Lee Branham of Martinsburg; one brother, Harold Catrow and wife, Nellie Rae of Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Phyllis Coyle.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00AM at the South Berkeley Chapel with Rev. W. Scott Summers officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
