Sarah Elizabeth  Stocker
Sarah Elizabeth Stocker, 26, of Martinsburg, passed away after a long battle with aplastic anemia on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at John Hopkins Medical Center.

Born August 2, 1991 in Germany she is the daughter of Jeffery Stocker and Alice Moore Stocker.

She was a 2010 graduate of Martinsburg High School; a 2014 graduate of Fairmont State University; and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority.

She had reached her life-time goal and began her teaching career at Berkeley Heights Elementary School as a third grade teacher.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Nathan Stocker and wife, Shady, and Matthew Stocker; niece, Makalah; three nephews, Jayce, Braxton, and Declan; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her boyfriend, Taylor Lewis.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles & Irene Stocker; and an uncle, George "Butch" Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Heritage Hall in Inwood followed by a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, it was Sarah's request that memorial contributions may be made to Aplastic Anemia/MDS International Foundation www.aamds.org.
