Obituary for Elsie Mae Dunlap

Elsie Mae Dunlap, 86, of Middleway passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Shenandoah Center.

Born January 12, 1931 in Jefferson County., WV she was the daughter of the late Grover Lee Dunlap and Virginia Mae Carper Dunlap.

She retired in 1987 from the Martinsburg VA Medical Center with 34 years of service. She was a member of Middleway United Methodist Church; and an associate member of Middleway Volunteer Fire Company.
She is survived by one sister Katherine Dawson; three nieces, Tona Braithwaite, Tammy Spiker and Patricia Dawson; two nephews, Todd Braithwaite and Donnie Dawson; a special great-niece, Amaya Dawson; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Longerbeam; and one nephew, Gary Dawson.

Family will receive friends Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Carol Strickler and Pastor Scott Sassaman officiating. Interment will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Middleway United Methodist Church or Middleway Volunteer Fire Department.
