The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Snyder can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy in this time of loss. A hope for the future at Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Condolence From: Paul/Susan Hayduk
Condolence: To the family, we offer our deepest sympathy for the passing of Harold. The loss of our dear friend will also leave a big dent in our lives. We visited him in Shepherdstown and Homewood and called him often. Members of the Association of Mapping Seniors, where Harold as editor started a newsletter from mimeograph to digital, also hold fond memories of his written articles. May God bless you all and may Harold rest in peace.

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. He was a good friend to my father, Jack Garrett, and we always enjoyed when we joined them for their many get togethers and trips.
We hope your many years of loving memories will help you get past this difficult time. Harold and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: To the Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Harold's passing. He was such a great person, fun loving, gracious, respectful and fun to be around. Our sympathy to each of you. What a great guy. He was a great AMS member and editor and a fun fellow on the trips. He devoted a lot of his energy and time for many years to the AMS Newsletter and organization. Tears in my eyes for his loss.

Condolence From: Elizabeth
Condolence: I'm so truly sorry. My heart hurts for the pain of your loss. Since Jesus compared death to sleep (John 11:11-14), something that brings me comfort is knowing that there is no cozier & safer place to be than taking a 'nap' in God's memory until the time he promises to awake these loved ones we have lost in death to be reunited with us (John 15:28,29), right here on an earth restored to his original purpose of perfect peace, health, & happiness (Psalm 37:11). And the fact that He then promises to get rid of death forever, tenderly wiping away all the tears it has caused (Isaiah 25:8), so we never have to worry about losing our beloved ones again. What a beautiful day that is to look forward to, being able to once again hold these ones we love & miss so dearly in our arms, & be held in their arms again too, & to know we can then do so under such perfect conditions forever. (Psalm 37:29) I pray God gives you comfort, strength, & peace to get through until that time. It's just around the corner. Every day that passes is one day closer. Sending hugs.

Condolence: John and I are so sorry for the loss of Harold. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. And we loved him. I must miss his service due to having surgery on Friday. But my heart will be there. May his family be blessed by many wonderful memories of a truly remarkable, wonderful man.
