Robert Philip Montgomery, 78, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born June 5, 1939 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late James Richard Montgomery, Sr. and Winifred Elizabeth Wisecarver Montgomery.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of the UBC132 in Forrestville, MD.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Shenandoah Junction.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Forrester Montgomery; step-daughter, Jean Forrester; grandson, Matthew Forrester; and his "fur baby" Cotton Candy.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 321 Potomac Street, Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442.
