Obituary for Brenda Louise Mills (Settle)

Brenda Louise Mills, 61 of Ranson, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of hospice. Born August 11, 1955 in Manassas, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Tasker Boldridge Settle and Francis Louise Wells Settle. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked for the Montgomery County Public Schools. Brenda is survived by her husband, Johnnie Wayne Mills at home, two daughters, Stacey Marie Mills and Dawn Louise Mills Slick and husband Emerson, all of Ranson, West Virginia, two brothers, Tasker “Bobby” Settle, Jr. and Michael Settle and wife Sonya all of Manassas, Virginia, two sisters, Teresa Jeannie Morgan of Woodsboro, Maryland and Weena Ann Settle Williams and husband Paul of Emmitsburg, Maryland, brother inlaws, William Mills and companion Diane, Robert Nicholson and wife Jen, Frankie and Douglas Barnhouse, sister inlaws, Linda Croghan and husband John, Carolyn Kursey and husband Marvin, Brenda Bailey and husband John, Debbie Smith and husband Ernie and Kathy Mills, uncles, Burgess and Manuel Settle of Manassas, Virginia, grandchildren, Victoria Rose White, William Thomas Goff, IV, Lilyannah, Nevaeh and Nathaniel Slick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Roger, Ricky, Stevie and Ronnie Settle, inlaws, Wanda Stanley, Mary and Ronnie Mills and Mike Barnhouse. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Maryland.
