Alice Joan "Granny" Grasty Arbogast, 79, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born September 1, 1937 in Staunton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Reavis B. and Florence E. Childress Grasty.

She was a member of the Martinsburg Christian Center and serving the Lord was her main interest and brought her joy.

She is survived by her son, Timothy E. Nance and wife, Lucinda; three daughters, Deborah K. Wolfe and husband, Robert, Deena S. Branson and husband, James, and Ellen A. Starliper and husband, Jeff; nine grandchildren, Timothy, Jr., Stephanie, David, Michael, Tabitha, Joshua, Jaime, Tiffany, and Marly; nine great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Abigail, Max, Isabella, Zoey, Parker, Luke, Victoria and Xavier; and one brother, Phillip E. Grasty.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Florence, Douglas, Joe, and Junior.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Farley officiating. Family will receive one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery.
