Obituary for Cleveland Lee "Cleve" Mason

Cleveland "Cleve" Lee Mason, 76, of Hedgesville passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

Born January 9, 1941 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Eugene Cleveland Mason and Bessie Marie Richmond Mason.

He was a veteran of the US Army; attended Hedgesville Baptist Church; and liked to hunt and fish.

He had taught electrical engineering at James Rumsey Technical Institute.

Cleve is survived by one son, Scott Mason and wife, Gloria; two daughters, Lisa Buck and husband, Gene, and Jana Miller; six grandchildren, Shonda Mason, Brad Buck, Kandi Brown, Melissa Carbaugh, Briana Currence, and Cody Miller; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Sencindiver; and fiancee, Virginia McClung.

He was preceded in death a son, Richard Mason.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jack Rudy officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hedgesville Baptist Church, 2656 Butler's Chapel Road, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
