Obituary for George Elmer "Chopie" Chopin Jr.
George Elmer "Chopie" Chopin, Jr., 63, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born May 24, 1953 in Ranson, WV he was the son of the late George Elmer Chopin, Sr. and Jane Pauline Russell Chopin.
He is survived by one son, Christopher M. Chopin and wife, Tiffany; one daughter, Christi M.L. Chopin and Darrish Robinson and their children, Mykayla L. Chopin, Lexus Saville, Kristofer L. Chopin, Kristian L. Chopin, Celia P. Robinson, and Michael Palmer and great-grandchild, DaVina Palmer; Christopher's eight children; one brother, Gary E. Chopin; one sister, Linda Anderson; one cousin, Linda Wright; his partner, Steve Martin; and former wife, Susie Miller.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
