Madeleine Joy Reed, 88, left Martinsburg to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 12, 1929 in Steubenville, OH she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clayton and Belva Mae Dalrymple Miskimins

She was a supporter of Meals on Wheels of Berkeley County.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James O. Reed; one son, Michael J. Reed and wife, Laurie; one daughter, Karen Regalbuto and husband, John; three grandchildren, Brian Earp and fiancee Tara Howard, Sarah Reed Grasso and husband, David, and Brandon Earp and wife, Sharonaka; two great-grandchildren, Leighton and Scarlett Earp.

She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Matt Lohr officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM prior to service. Interment will be private.
