Mary Catherine  Arvin
Mary Catherine Arvin, 77, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Clary Grove Nursing Home
Born August 22, 1939 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard Chester Small and Catherine May Feltner Small.
She was a 1957 graduate of Martinsburg High School. She enjoyed the high school class reunions.
She was a member of Blairton United Methodist Church; and former member of Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary had been employed as a cafeteria manager with KMart and then Little Caesars; after retirement she worked in the gift shop at Cracker Barrell.
She is survived by sons, Artie Arvin and Vickie Lilly; Scott Arvin and wife Kelly; a daughter, Jackie Hartley and husband, Bob; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Catlett, Jessica Redden and Jon, Daniel Arvin and Emmy Wilson, Robbie Hartley and Lauren Hensell, Chelsea Arvin, Carrie Arvin and Shawn Fisher, and Tarah Arvin; ten great grandchildren, Emily, Haidyn, Chayse, Sydney, Bella, William, Jack, Evan, Noelle, and Lilley; and two sisters, Geneva "Bea" Aikens and husband, Bob, and Naomi Linton; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Melvin Arthur Arvin and a son, Todd A. Arvin.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Goforth officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blairton United Methodist Church, PO Box 1365, Martinsburg, WV 25402.
