Obituary for Sylvia Dale Barnhart (Martin)

Sylvia Dale Barnhart, 72, of Hedgesville, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 31, 1944 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Martin and Norma Grace Crawford Martin.

She and her husband started the business Barnhart's Beef & Pork. She was a member of Providence Bible Church.

Sylvia was a 13 year survivor of a lung transplant.

She is survived by two sons, James R. Barnhart, Jr. and wife, Laura, Robert Daniel Barnhart and wife, Christina; two daughters, Cindy Gault and husband, Tom, Robin Mason and husband, Roger; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Martin; and one sister, Linda Hansrote.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Raleigh Barnhart, Sr.; one grandson, Michael Gault; one brother, Terry Wayne Martin; and two sisters, her twin, Sharon Perry and Kay Martin.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Providence Bible Church, 889 Providence Church Road in Hedgesville.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00AM with Rev. Jack Rudy and Pastor Eric Kisner at Providence Bible Church.
