Obituary for Georgia Ann Buracker (Hough)

Georgia Ann Buracker, 66 of Shenandoah Junction passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. Born February 7, 1951 in Kabletown, she was the daughter of the late Howard William Hough and Edna Breeden Hough. She was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, William Sowers of Shenandoah Junction, James Sowers and wife Jackie of Martinsburg and Timothy Sowers and wife Jennifer of Harpers Ferry, one daughter, Christine Longerbeam and husband Wayne of Charles Town, one brother, James Hough of Ranson, one sister, Evelyn Hough of Baltimore, Maryland, grandchildren, Kevin Grove, Stephanie Sowers, Kayla Grove, Brittany and Alyssa Sowers, Ryan Longerbeam, James Sowers, Jr., Tabitha Scott and Samantha Sowers, one great grandchild, Kylie Grove and companion, Charles”Chuck” Pulse. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Addison Sowers and Glen Buracker, brothers, Leonard and Howard Hough, Jr. and grandchildren Heather and Josh Sowers. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Reverend JoAnn Alexander and Pastor Kent H. Tice officiating. Interment will be in the Edge Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Grove, Billy Scott, John Hardy, Larry Hawk, Christopher Buracker and Curtis Ziglar. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel.
