Obituary for Betty Arlene Curtis (Syring)

Betty A. Curtis of Fairview Beach, Virginia, passed away on May 2, 2017.
She was born on March 21, 1923 in Hastings, Nebraska to the late George and Helen Syring. She was the wife of the late Norman H. Curtis.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlan and Don Syring, and two sisters, Leila and Bonnie Syring.
She is survived by one sister, Marilyn Laffitte and husband, Jean of Sutton. NE; one son, Craig Curtis and wife Robin of Martinsburg, WV ; one daughter, Diane Curtis and husband, Dwayne of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchildren, Craig, Victoria, Christopher, and Jessica; and two great-grandchildren, Geoffrey and Bayleigh.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens,3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the King George Fire and Rescue, Fairview Beach Station Company 3 6060 Riverview Drive, King George, VA 22485.
