Teresa G.  Parkinson (Kershner)
Teresa G. Parkinson, 97, of Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her daughter's home.

Born December 31, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Henry Raymond Kershner and Bertha Landis Kershner.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of The Catholic Daughters of America Court 392.

She was employed by Jefferson Manufacturing Company for 26 years; and for two seasons at the Musselman Apple Plant.

She is survived by her son, Nelson L. Parkinson and wife, Diane of Inwood; daughter, Bonne J. Kline and husband, Larry of Martinsburg; four grandchildren, Shawn, Christina, Travis, and Shelley; two great-grandchildren,, Selena and Aidan; and three step-grandchildren, Ty, Abbey, and Joey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Benjamin Parkinson; five brothers, Clarence, John, Edmund, Henry, and Francis Kershner; three sisters, Mary Agnes Grove, Rosalee Lehew, and Elsie Wilburn.

Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Eric Hall, IV officiating.

Interment prayers will be said at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic, 336 S. Queen Street, Martinsburg or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
