Charles M. "Charlie"  Hudgins
Charles M. "Charlie" Hudgins, 55, of Hedgesville passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born July 6, 1961 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late William Edward Hudgins and Jean Annell Cannon Hudgins.

He had been a plant operator for the Berkeley County Public Service Water District. He was a classic car and truck enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Shanholtz Hudgins; one son, Charles M. Hudgins, II and fiance McKaylyn of Hedgesville; one brother, Billy Hudgins, II and wife, Dana; one sister, Linda Guest and husband, Frank; two nieces, Pam and Kimberly; three nephews, Billy, III, Frank, and Michael; two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law; and a number of great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheri and Brittany.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Lewis O. Braithwaite officiating. Graveside service will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Enon Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Largent, WV.
