Obituary for June Griffith Myers (Griffith)
June Griffith Myers, 92, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born January 6, 1925 in Olcott, WV, and formerly of S. Charleston, she was the daughter of the late William Frederick Griffith and Lucy Elizabeth Wolfe Griffith.
She was employed in the admissions office at the University of Charleston in West Virginia.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick M. Izard of Woodlands, TX, and Wade V. Myers of Martinsburg, WV; one daughter, Nora T. Myers of South Charleston, WV; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frederick R. Griffith of Cincinnati, OH, and Stuart W. Griffith of Heritage, TN; and two sisters, Vera G. Casto of Eugene, OR, and Barbara Lanterman of Annandale, VA.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Griffith and one sister, Vaughn Miller.
Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brounland Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 176, Alum Creek, WV 25003 or Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
