Obituary for Robert Lee "Bobby" Long

Robert "Bobby" Lee Long, 79, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 8, 1937 in Berkeley County, WV he was the son of the late Raymond Jacob and Myrtle Katherine Murphy Long.
He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
Bob was a veteran of the US Navy. He retired from the Martinsburg Fire Department, was a member of Westphal Hose Company #5; and had done maintenance for the county.
Bobby was a devoted man to church, family, job, and sports. He was a good friend to many.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Scott Long and wife, Crystal of Martinsburg, Gary Wayne Long of Williamsport, MD; five grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Zachary, Stephen, and Aiden; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jane Feltner Long; one grandchild Kiana Carter; one brother, Raymond Long, Jr.; and one sister, Jeanette Harrison.
Family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:30PM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mooney officiating. Military graveside service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery with Firefighter last call.
