Obituary for James Larry Simpson

James Larry Simpson, 65 of Bunker Hill passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home. Born October 28, 1951 in Leesburg, Virginia he was the son of the late Wilbur Stuart Simpson and Mabel Virginia Russell Simpson. He worked for 25 years as a truck driver for Loudoun Milk Transportation. He loved his family so much, enjoyed working outside, he was Mr. Fix it. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, Nascar fan, Carl Edwards was his favorite driver and loved his John Deere tractor. He will be truly missed by his beloved dog, Barley.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diana Marie Campbell Simpson, at home; two sons, James Alan Wright of Front Royal and Aaron Larry Simpson of Bunker Hill; three daughters, Sherry Diane Braithwaite of Front Royal, Holly Fogle and husband Trevor of Shenandoah Junction and January Sowers and husband Kevin of Bunker Hill; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Melvin “Toby” Leroy Wright,
Jr., three brothers, Stuart Lee Simpson, AJ Simpson and Ronald Eugene Simpson; sister, Betty Jean O’Brien.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be private.
