Obituary for Joanne Clare Emge (Byczynski)

Joanne Clare Emge, 66, of Falling Waters, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born November 18, 1950 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Ann Clare Byczynski.
She had been an English professor at Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Thomas Emge; one son, Ronald T. Emge, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Waynesboro, PA; three grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, and Brady; one brother, Stuart Byczynski of Red Lion, PA; two sisters, Lynn Byczynski and husband, Dan Nagengast of Lawrence, KS, and Christine Lipsky and husband, Ted of Bethlehem, PA; and sister-in-law, Janet Emge of Beaver Falls, PA.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Memorial mass will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Mission with Father George Pucciarelli celebrant. Interment prayers will be said at St. Leo Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue organization of one's choice.
