Obituary for Flora Mae Richter (Troup)

Flora Mae Richter, 98, formerly of Belle Vernon, PA passed away on March 29, 2017 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Martinsburg, WV.

She was born on March 12, 1919, a daughter of the late Clyde and Estee (O'Roark) Troup.

She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Richter is survived by two sons and their wives, Robert E. and Betty Cuthbert of Martinsburg, WV and Jeffery L. and Kathy Cuthbert of Fallon, NV; one daughter, Karen M. Stroud of Dale, TX; two step daughters and their husbands, Linda and Ken Snowdowne and Melanie and Hugh Smedley; one step son and his wife, John and Judy Richter; sister, Margie Stricek; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Cuthbert; her second husband, Clarence E. Richter; brothers, Clifford Troup, John Stanley Troup and Glenn Troup; sister, Grace Kelly; and two grandsons, Gary E. Cuthbert and Christopher L. Cuthbert.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 2nd in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 3rd at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darrel Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Church Cemetery.
