Obituary for Barbara Tucker McThenia
Barbara Tucker McThenia of Martinsburg, WV, formerly of Hagerstown, MD went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 25, 2017.
She was the loving wife of William "Bill" McThenia who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her three children, daughter, Nancy Jones and husband, Carl; a son, R. Mark Tucker all of Hagerstown; daughter, Susan Shifflett and significant other Jeff, of Martinsburg. Her oldest son Jerry Duckworth preceded her in death.
She also leaves two grandsons, Matthew Souders and wife Natalie and their two daughters, Lydia and Elaina of Frederick, MD.; Tyler McKee of Martinsburg; one grand-daughter Afton Reyher of Cumberland, MD., and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins in her birth state of North Carolina.
She chose to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Calvary Bible Church, 501 Faulkner Ave., Martinsburg, WV 25401 with Pastor David Moser officiating.
Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
