Obituary for Joseph Robert Jones Sr.
Mr. Joseph Robert Jones, Sr., 78, of Martinsburg, WV passed from this life into the loving forgiveness of God on March 16, 2017. He was born in French Creek, WV to the late Wilma Eloise Jones and Luther Earl Jones.
A graduate of Elizabeth Forward High, 1956, University of Georgia, 1965, MBA Mount Saint Mary’s College 1981. Retired from Boise Cascade / American Woodmark. He was a member of Elk Branch Masonic Lodge #93, and Shepherdstown Order of Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Jones, Martinsburg, WV; two sons, Joe Jones, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, William Jones of Atlanta, GA; two daughters Laura Shea of Frederick, MD and Libby Piper of West Chester, PA; one stepson Charles Turner of WV; two brothers, Charles A. Jones of FL, and Earl K. Jones of FL; one sister, Elizabeth E. Goff of VA; 9 Grandsons; and 4 step- grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 27,2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, WV.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
