Howard Woodrow Dillow, 81 of Ranson passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Jefferson Medical Center. Born July 16, 1935 in Charles Town he was the son of the late Harvey Washington Dillow and Edna Belle Dillow. He worked as a backtender for the Halltown Paperboard Company. He was a wonderful, hardworking husband and father. He knew everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Darlene Virginia Long Dillow; two sons, Jeffery Lane Dillow, Sr. and wife Wendy and Howard William Dillow; one daughter, Marsha Nalls and husband Kenneth all of Ranson; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter; Debra Dillow, two brothers, Clayton Engle and Sherman Dillow.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be in the Edge Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
