Obituary for Margaret Louise McFadden (Rice)

Margaret Louise Rice McFadden, 81, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Saturday, March 18,2017 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Born April 9, 1935 in Williamsport, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Rice and Edna Elizabeth Summers Rice.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by her six sons, Dennis McFadden of Gore, VA, Kenneth McFadden of Hawkins, TX, Monte McFadden of Bunker Hill, Steven Rice of TX, Robert Rice of Capon Bridge; and Kevin Thompson of Des Moines, Iowa,; two daughters, Debra Alley of Richmond, VA and Karla Hansen of Des Moines; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 brothers, Carl Wayne, Denny, Ricky and Earl Rice, all of NC, and Tracy Rice of Martinsburg; three sisters, Gail Ann Oxendine and Betty Jean Hunt both of NC, Angela Rice of Martinsburg; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Kane of Prairie City, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. "Copperhead" McFadden on September 21, 1999; son, Brian K.; daughter, Kimberly Mann; and two sisters, Mary Jane Socks and Carole Ann Rice.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the funeral chapel with Rev. Micki Jo Elliott officiating. Interment will be in Rest Cemetery in Clearbrook, VA.
Contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
