Domenick Anthony Palmer, Jr., 82, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, March 1,2017 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born August 4, 1934 in New Castle, PA he was the son of the late Domenick Anthony Palmer and Rose Frank Palmer.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of St. Leo Roman Catholic Church. Domenick was an active member of the Order of Sons of Italy Dan Di Mucci Lodge, Knights of Columbus of Inwood, Elks Lodge #378, American Legion Post #14, and the International Cake Exploration Society.
He had been a florist for Van Tol Florist, an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor, cosmetology instructor for International House of Beauty, and owner and operator of House of Milo Beauty Salon in Rockville, MD.
He is survived by Joseph Ash; one sister, Rosemarie Cozza of New Castle, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew, Charles, Toby, and James Palmer; and two sisters, Madeline Batt and Delores Rubies.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Alfred Obiudu celebrant. Interment prayers will be said at 2:00PM at Christ Reformed Cemetery, Middletown, MD.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Rosary will take place at 6:00PM and the wake will be held at 7:30PM.
