Obituary for Rhea Abner Watson

Rhea Abner Watson, 83, of Bunker Hill, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born July 29, 1933, in Middleway, WV , he was the son of late Lester Watson and Roberta Childs Watson.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Inwood. He retired from Schmidt Baking Company with 39 years of service.

Rhea is survived by his children, Sherry Watson Beaver, Chasity Marie Watson, Ray Anthony Watson, III, Daniel Scott Watson, Heather Marie Watson, Dustin Dwayne Watson, Haylee Toni Marie Watson; Herman "Jr." Beaver one great grandchild, Zoey Rayne Watson; two sisters, Mary Betty Deeds, and Josephine Wilson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, ShirleyTemple Miller Watson; a son, Ray Anthony Watson, Jr. and three siblings.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the chapel with Evangelist Zach Lister officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses.
