Obituary for Linda Lou Hahn (Mercer)

Mrs. Linda Lou Hahn, 68 of 135 Sculpture Way, Inwood, WV, passed away on Sunday December 25, 2016 at her residence.

Born May 25, 1948 in Frederick MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin James and Daugherty Marian Mercer.

She was a member of the Arden United Methodist Church; she was a seamstress with H. L. Harts and Sons in Frederick, MD for 17 years; then became co-owner of Hahn’s Lawn Service for the past 31 years.

She is survived by her husband Glenn Daniel Hahn; son Kenneth E. Hahn and wife Christy D.; daughter Diane L. Knicely and Husband Garland W.; two grandchildren, which she cherished with all of her heart, Nicholas R. and Ashley N. Knicely; five sisters; Cindy Millberry and husband, Rick, of Martinsburg WV, Grace Tobery of Frederick MD, Jackie Dorsey and husband, William, of Martinsburg WV, Candy Bell of Inwood WV, Mary King and husband, Leonard, of Jefferson, MD; and one brother, James Robert Mercer, of Frederick, MD.

Memorial Services will be held at Arden United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, WV on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Sarah Andrews Schlieckert officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville WV 25430.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
