Edward  Lee "Lee"  Tansill Jr.
Edward “Lee” Tansill, Jr., 69, of Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.

Born October 12, 1947 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Edward Lee Tansill, Sr. and Edna Rose Lee Bartles Tansill.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later retired from Essroc Cement after 38 years. He was a member of the Moose and life member of the VFW. A 1965 graduate of Martinsburg High School.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lou Tyron Tansill; daughter, Devi Rae Mason, and husband, Ricky; three grandsons, Joshua Mason, Benjamin Mason and wife, Taylor, and Zachary Mason; one great-granddaughter, Haley; and three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Tansill; and a sister, Brenda Brown.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Butler officiating.

Militlary graveside services will be held in Rosedale Cemetery.
