Brenda Lee  Plotner (Butts)
Brenda Lee Plotner entered this life on March 22, 1939 and proceeded on her journey home October 25, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, of 59 years, Donald P. Plotner; children, Donnie Plotner, Jill Plotner and husband, Jeff Gaskins; her brothers, Jack Butts and wife, Elaine, Bob Butts and wife, Mary Lee, Tim Butts and wife, Judy; sisters, Sue Taylor and husband, Larry, and Melissa Butts. Brenda also is survived by grandchildren, Jordan Plotner, Rae Anne Tigney, and Jeffrey "Scooter" Gasksins. Brenda had many precious people in her life, with special mention to niece, Mary Beth Cornell and husband, Jack, and her loving aunt, Pearl Frye. Brenda was pre-deceased by her parents, Jack and Mary Ella Butts; brother, Michael Butts and her two precious canine friends, Max and Missy.

Brenda was a former Martinsburg City Council member. She was a career beautician; as the owner and operator of Queen's Terrace Beauty Salon. Brenda was a vivacious, outgoing, creative person who never met a stranger. She was an active crafter and artist, participating in local craft fairs. Brenda was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church ushering for the weekly Saturday evening Mass. She was a former officer and active member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 392. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Eric Hall, celebrant.

Interment prayers will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Luncheon to follow interment at St. Joseph Social Hall.
