The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Welda Viands can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Julie Barton
Condolence: I visited Sister Welda and son Brian only a few times and loved reading Bible devotions and singing from the old hymnal with her. I send my condolences to her family members and love in this difficult time.

Condolence From: Condolences
Condolence: My deepest heartfelt condolences to your family . Losing ones we love is by far the most heartbreaking thing in life to bear. Two scriptures I find comfort in about the promise for the near future are John 5:28, 29, which promises that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will.. come out", followed by the beautiful time that Revelation 21:4 describes: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." A beautiful time our loved ones who are "sleeping" in death (John 11:11-13) will come back to life & to us right here on an earth of restored peace & health in the near future (Psalms 37:11,29), & we'll never have to worry about losing them again (1 Corinthians 15:26). I hope you'll find comfort in looking forward to the fulfillment of those promises as I do, & knowing that your loved one is not suffering but is at rest until you can see them again, healthy & happy, once again very soon, for all eternity.

Condolence: Your family has my deepest sympathy. I’m so very sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Welda. Well, I was thinking of something to say to ease the tremendous pain that your family is suffering. So I compiled this list of Scriptures that is sure to bring you comfort in this difficult time: Psalms 55:22; Proverbs 3:5, 6; Isaiah 41:10; 2 Corinthians 1: 3-7; James 4:8; and Revelation 21:4. Be strong. Cherish the memories. May the peace of God be with your family always. And please remember to call upon His name found at Psalms 83:18.
