Michael A.  Kark
Michael A. Kark, 69, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on October 1, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 8, 1947, in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Michael F. Kark and Ruth Grosskopf Kark.

Michael was a veteran of Vietnam War and a proud Marine . He was employed with Schmidt Baking Co. for 28 years. After retirement, he worked at Martins Distributing.

Michael was devoted to Lord and his family. He is survived by his wife, Robin D. Kark. His children, Lisa M. Price, Michael S. Kark, Brian L. Shipley (Aubrey), Angela L. Kim (Matthew). The joys of his life, his grandchildren, Skylar and Chase Price, Kaylie, Cameron and Caroline Shipley, Devon and Breelynne Kark, Nicole, Michelle and Jeremiah Kim, his sister Elizabeth A. Goodchild (Charles), Mother-in-law, Dorothy M. Boone, Sisters-in-law, Terri J. Harshman (Richard), Sandra Staats, Patricia Staats; Brother-in-law, Randy Boone and wife, Jennifer; a host of niece and nephews, cousins and best friend, Bob King. He leaves his faithful companion, Daisy Mae.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene and William Staats.

Funeral services will be private and a public graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
