Obituary for James Phillip "Jim" Adams

James "Jim" Phillip Adams, 86, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born June 28, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio he was the son of the late Arthur and Roxie Hubbert Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Henri Adams; two sons, Warren and Clarence Adams; four daughters, Elosie Cornish, Janet Davis, Lynn Terrell and Lorna Gethers; eleven grandchildren; and one sister, Beatrice Gillis.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Donald Adams.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Serenity Seventh Day Adventist Church, 25 Duke Road, Martinsburg. Elder Bev Miles and Elder William Sublett will officiate.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
