Obituary for Wilfred Eugene Newell

Wilfred Eugene Newell, 82, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Shenandoah Center.

Born May 31, 1933 in Edwardsville, Illinois, he was the son of the late Maxine Williams Newell.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from General Motors.

He is survived by his three sons, Timothy William Newell and wife, Shannon, David Newell and Michael Newell; and two grandchildren, Dustin Newell and Erin Newell.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Eloise Phillips Newell on June 2, 2015; son, Patrick Newell; and granddaughter, Jessica Newell.

Service and interment are private.
