Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Roy Young can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Roy Young. May your memories bring comfort in the days and weeks ahead.

Mr. Young was a wonderful presence in county government and in his many roles in the Berkeley County Emergency Services Department. I remember fondly his work with Steve Allen and with the finest group of volunteers that one could ever ask to have represent our county. Our resources were thin, but our spirit was robust. Thanks to him and to his family for sharing his time, his gifts and his knowledge with the county for the benefit of the county citizens. He will be missed greatly.
