Obituary for Rebecca Jean Yingling (Nicewarner)

Rebecca Jean Yingling, 59, of Kearneysville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2016 at INOVA Fairfax.

Born April 29, 1957 in Winchester, Virginia, she was the daughter of Donald Eugene Nicewarner and Betty Lou (Russell) Nicewarner.

She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and was active in their Friendship Class.

She was employed by the VA Medical Center as a nursing aid and had been a nursing assistant at Heartland for many years. She was deeply concerned and caring of her patients.

She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and avid shopper.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Merle Donald "Rick" Yingling; son, Joseph Yingling and fiancé, Lecia; two brothers, Ronald Nicewarner and wife, Karen, and Jack Nicewarner; and her beloved dog, "Raven."

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Calvary UMC.

Interment will be private.
